High Wycombe Central Aid Society

After an initial trial, we have launched our Furniture Project Ebay Outlet! Taking advantage of Missionfish, a partnership with Ebay's charitable outreach arm, we have set up a presence on Ebay that will allow us to sell items and have the seller fees refunded to us from Ebay. (Many other large charities already use this service, but the work involved in registering your charity and validating the details often puts off smaller charities like us.)

We periodically list surplus items of furniture here for auction to the highest bidder. This would normally be items that have not sold in the warehouse, type of items we have too many of, pieces that we think have a specialist appeal, or other marketable items that we do occasionally pick up in the course of our normal collections. No registered customer discounts apply to these listings, as they are purely for the purposes of raising funds and clearing out surplus stock. We tend not to use 'Buy it Now' as we find that in general higher prices are reached via an open-bid auction.

Are you able to sell items for us?

If you are able to sell your own surplus items via Ebay and donate some or all of the proceeds to High Wycombe Central Aid Society, please contact us for details of how to set it up. All you need is a regular Ebay seller's account and some items to sell !
