We are partially full, although we have limited space for certain items - please contact us to find out what we can currently collect.

Our Furniture Donation FAQ page has lots of information about the sort of things we do and don't take on an ongoing basis.

Furniture Collections: Regular Notices

Please understand that we cannot do collections at very short notice - if you are looking to move items on please contact us a week in advance rather than waiting for the day before you need them collected!

You are welcome to bring items down to us when we are open, but please bear in mind that we might not be able to take them due to lack of space or changes in our current requirements.  To save a wasted trip, we always recommend calling us in advance so we can discuss the items you have to donate.

We always need many more beds, wardrobes and chests of drawers as these are needed by families setting up home for the first time and are in great demand / short supply.

When we have space we tend to only collect small dining suites (Tables with 2-4 Chairs). We do get overloaded with items like tables and sometimes have to stop taking any more.

Wall / display units:  we are not taking any more unless they are small ones, almost always made of pine. Other than our Ebay outlet, we don't find that they sell and most of those in receipt of our furniture grants do not have the room for them.

We only stock a couple of large or 3 seater sofas at any one time. Therefore we are unable to collect most offers of large / 3 sofas.  This is mainly due to their size, which is becoming more and more of a problem for us - we have problems trying to deliver them to our clients' typical range of properties, which are often small flats with narrow entrance ways and stairwells.
